Job summary

LifeBridge Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician III to provide expert-level repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and technical support for complex biomedical and imaging equipment across LifeBridge Health facilities. You will serve as a senior technical resource, using independent judgement for advanced troubleshooting and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics or related field preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of progressive biomedical equipment experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex medical systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess equipment failures and determine repair strategy.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting and component-level repair on complex biomedical systems.
• Coordinates vendor preventive maintenance activities and ensures contract compliance.
• Provides cross-site support across LifeBridge Health hospitals; travel between sites as needed.
• Mentors BMET I and BMET II staff as a technical resource.
• Participates in rotating on-call coverage and responds to emergent equipment failures.
• Manages performance and development of individuals and teams.
