Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots to component level; repair and calibrate to manufacturer specifications for electronic instrumentation.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections on Direct and Indirect Patient-Care-Related electronic instrumentation/systems.
• Maintains repair and inspection records in paper and computer systems; assists in capital equipment installation.
• Interfaces with manufacturers on clinical/technical projects and problems.
• Maintains knowledge of electronics advances and equipment changes within the hospital.
• Participates in after-hours emergency service coverage as required.
• Works outside job parameters occasionally.
