Job summary

Zenith System Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior BMC Helix Developer/Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance an enterprise ITSM platform. You will handle platform administration, custom development, API integrations, production support, monitoring, and UX improvements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Helix modules experience, strong enterprise integrations, workflow automation, and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues while supporting migration initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hand-on experience with BMC Remedy / AR System / BMC Helix in an enterprise production environment.
• 3+ years in a senior developer, administrator, or technical lead role on Helix or an equivalent ITSM platform.
• Proven experience supporting Helix ITSM, Smart IT, Digital Workplace, and Service Catalog (SRM) in production.
• Experience building and maintaining REST API integrations between Helix and external enterprise systems.
• Experience operating multi-tier Helix environments, including AR Server, Mid-tier, RSSO/SSO, and database layers.
• ITIL/SOX knowledge and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Tier-3 SME for production issues across ITSM modules.
• Investigate and resolve submission failures, approval errors, workflow exceptions, authentication issues, and integration faults.
• Perform root cause analysis on platform/configuration/custom code issues and document fixes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical outages and major submission/approval failures.
• Manage environment promotion (Dev → QA → Prod), change control, and release validation.
• Build and maintain native monitoring and KPI dashboards with 15-minute refresh intervals.
• Configure audit, custom KPI snapshot tables, alerts, and operational reports.
• Develop platform customizations using Innovation Studio / Helix Platform.
• Build REST API integrations between Helix and external systems.
• Implement robust error handling, retry logic, and logging for integrations.
• AI/automation: configure HelixGPT and automate provisioning workflows.
