Job summary

EY’s Blockchain & Digital Assets practice seeks a Senior Manager to serve as lead technical architect for institutional clients navigating digital asset security. You’ll design and secure custody architectures, advising on MPC and HSM implementations and air-gapped storage.

You’ll evaluate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Layer 1/2 ecosystems, develop AI-driven threat models, and translate complex risks into strategic guidance for C‑suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, blockchain security, or cryptographic research.
• Hands-on experience with private key lifecycles and enterprise key management.
• Deep knowledge of Bitcoin/Ethereum architecture and related ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure safeguarding: design and audit custody solutions (MPC, HSMs, air-gapped storage).
• Protocol analysis: evaluate Bitcoin/Ethereum and Layer 1/2 ecosystems for security.
• AI-driven threat modeling: address AI-enabled cybersecurity risks.
• Cryptographic implementation: ECC, ZKPs, threshold schemes, distributed keys.
• Incident response: lead response during security events with cross-functional teams.
• Strategic advisory: translate risks into business insights for C-suite audiences.
• Practice development: lead client engagements and support business growth.
