Job summary

eCapital seeks a Digital Assets Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across our digital assets infrastructure, FinTech apps, and cloud environments. You will work hands-on with Cybersecurity, Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to safeguard blockchain and cryptographic systems.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in blockchain security, cloud infrastructure, cryptography, and secure software development, with experience across AWS, Kubernetes, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Experience securing digital assets, DLT or cryptographic systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cryptography.
• Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and infrastructure security experience.
• Experience in application/API security, secure coding, threat modelling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of key management, PKI, digital signatures, HSMs, or cloud KMS.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to clearly communicate risk and collaborate across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls for enterprise digital assets and environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling for digital assets and integrations.
• Assess risks related to private/public digital asset networks and third‑party platforms.
• Evaluate consensus mechanisms, network communications, and identity management.
