EY's Blockchain & Digital Assets practice is seeking a Senior Manager to serve as a lead technical architect for institutional clients navigating the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem. This role blends cryptography, cybersecurity, and advisory capabilities to help organizations safeguard digital assets and manage AI-enabled threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, systems engineering, blockchain security, digital asset infrastructure, or cryptographic research.
• Hands-on experience managing private key lifecycles and enterprise key management programs.
• Deep knowledge of Bitcoin/Ethereum architecture and staking mechanisms.
• Experience leading large client engagements and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and audit institutional digital asset custody solutions (MPC, HSMs, air-gapped storage).
• Evaluate Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Layer 1/2 ecosystems for security assumptions and risks.
• Develop AI-driven threat modeling and defensive strategies against cyber threats.
• Provide expertise in ECC, ZKPs, threshold signatures, and distributed key management.
• Lead incident response during security events with coordinated cross-team effort.
• Translate complex risks into actionable business insights for executives.
