Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable blockchain-enabled applications in a fast‑moving Agile environment. You will work across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, contributing to the full stack with Node.js, React, and Express, while aligning with SDLC best practices.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, drive quality, and steer architectural decisions for secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-4 years in a relevant field; 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Hands-on full-stack JavaScript development including Node.js and frameworks such as React and Express.
• Experience designing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building cloud-native/microservices architectures.
• Experience with Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban).
• Knowledge of SDLC practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, test, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
• Passion for blockchain tech and experience with Ethereum/Quorum/Solidity is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible (IaC).
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements and develop components integral to software architecture.
• Contribute to business processes, selecting methodologies to meet client metrics and objectives.
• Solve technical problems across full stack including Ethereum-related infrastructure.
• Translate user stories and technical requirements into functional code.
• Deliver software systems with SDLC best practices and code reviews.
• Contribute to architecture, security, reliability, and scaling of systems.
• Collaborate with product team to deliver solutions and customer experiences.
• Define and execute deliverables efficiently.
• Manage completion of deliverables and engagement metrics.
• Track resource plans and budgets; report project status.
• Participate in client sessions as workstream member or team lead.
• Travel as required by client needs, with billable hours maintained.
