Job summary

EY consults on Digital and Cloud, building blockchain‑driven enterprise apps. Senior Software Engineers design and deploy scalable blockchain solutions for financial institutions, in Agile teams. The role emphasizes SDLC best practices, security, and client collaboration to deliver production‑scale systems.

Base pay varies across the U.S.; EY offers a hybrid model, medical/dental, pension/401(k) and paid time off as part of a comprehensive package. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience with modern full‑stack JavaScript development (Node.js, React, Express).
• Experience designing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building cloud‑native/microservices architectures.
• Experience with Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban).
• Knowledge of software engineering practices and SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements and develop components and services for our software architecture.
• Translate user stories and technical requirements into functional code.
• Build and deliver software systems following SDLC best practices.
• Contribute to architecture and design with focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver solutions and customer experiences.
• Define and execute deliverables, manage completion and engagement metrics.
• Track resource plans and project status; participate in client sessions as needed.
