Job summary

Midas is seeking an experienced blockchain systems architect to design and operate scalable production-grade infrastructure for DeFi and wallet services. You will own end-to-end lifecycle of blockchain transactions, integrate cross-network architectures, and drive security and reliability in systems used by millions of users.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and operating production blockchain systems.
• Deep understanding of wallet architectures, custody models, and key management.
• Experience with multiple blockchain networks and on-chain/off-chain architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic signing workflows and security boundaries.
• Familiarity with DeFi use cases like staking, liquidity pools, and DEXs.
• Proven ability to lead architectural decisions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable blockchain infrastructure that handles real users and real money.
• Own the architecture and full lifecycle of blockchain transactions, from initiation to recovery.
• Build and evolve wallet, custody, key management, and transaction infrastructure across on-chain and off-chain systems.
• Design integrations across different blockchain networks, architectures, consensus models, and transaction models.
• Develop and integrate smart contracts where applicable, including EVM-compatible ecosystems.
• Build production-grade solutions for DeFi use cases such as staking, liquidity pools, and DEX integrations.
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex blockchain systems, including security, resiliency, observability, and incident response.
• Drive architectural decisions balancing security, scalability, reliability, and development velocity.
• Collaborate with product, business, security, and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural decisions within the team.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high standards for code quality and security.
