Amgen is seeking a Senior Counsel Biotech Patent Law - Biosimilars to develop and execute market access strategies for biosimilar and innovator products while managing global freedom-to-operate analyses. The role supports cross-functional teams including in-house attorneys and researchers.

You will draft and prosecute patent applications, advise on IP strategies, and collaborate across functions to advance Amgen’s pipeline in oncology, inflammation, and rare diseases.

Formación

• J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school; admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Four years of experience practicing intellectual property law.
• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Seven+ years of experience in patent or IP law.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a market access strategy for biosimilar and/or innovator molecules.
• Perform freedom-to-operate analyses for drug substances, products, formulations, processes, and methods of treatment.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications; provide patent litigation support.
• Develop and counsel others on intellectual property strategies for Amgen’s business and research.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams and travel up to 10%.
