Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Counsel IP Litigation to lead and manage U.S. and international patent disputes. You will collaborate with outside counsel and in-house teams to develop case strategies, manage discovery, motions, and trial prep, and advise on IP strategies that support Amgen's research and business objectives.

The role may be based remotely in the U.S. with travel as needed and requires a strong track record in IP litigation, drafting, and advocacy.

Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Four years of experience practicing Intellectual Property law.
• Strong analytical, legal drafting, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support U.S. and international patent disputes in courts and tribunals.
• Develop and drive case strategies with outside counsel and in-house teams.
• Hands-on involvement in witness interviews, discovery, motions, and trial prep.
• Counsel on intellectual property strategies aligned with Amgen's business goals.
