Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Senior BIOS / UEFI Engineer to drive new product development for rugged embedded platforms. You will start from AMI/Intel reference BIOS, tailor it to new hardware, and lead BIOS bring-up with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on BIOS development experience.
Strong experience developing UEFI BIOS; modern UEFI experience required.
Demonstrated experience personally developing BIOS, not just using BIOS.
Experience with BIOS bring-up on newly designed hardware.
Experience where the BIOS ran on the board they helped bring up.

Responsibilities

Develop and customize UEFI BIOS for new products.
Perform BIOS bring-up on newly designed boards.
Debug hardware/firmware issues during initial board startup.
Collaborate with hardware, FPGA and software teams to validate system functionality.
Support interfaces such as USB, PCI Express, SATA and board-level features.
