Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for a BIOS/firmware engineer to design, develop, and validate firmware for high-performance computing platforms. You will work closely with hardware, OS, and validation teams to ensure reliable platform bring‑up and integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of experience in embedded software development.
Minimum 10 years of experience in BIOS development.
Expertise with C and C++ in platform firmware development.
Expertise with UEFI firmware development across multiple processor families.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs BIOS and platform firmware for HPC products.
Leads design assessment, coding, integration, and validation activities.
Writes test plans and documentation; debugs firmware behavior and hardware initialization issues.
Coordinates with software/hardware partners and vendors to deliver firmware solutions.
Mentors less-experienced staff and communicates status and risks to management.
