Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal BIOS Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and debug BIOS and platform firmware for high-performance computing products. You will work closely with hardware teams to ensure reliable initialization, hardware interfaces and system integration.

You will enable complex HPC platforms by porting BIOS, leading development, and collaborating across BIOS, OS, and validation teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in embedded firmware development.
• Expertise with BIOS/UEFI and platform initialization.
• Experience in Linux environments and build/scripting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot BIOS and platform firmware for HPC products.
• Collaborate with hardware, OS, and validation teams to ensure reliable firmware.
• Lead or contribute to firmware integration, debugging, and release processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional work.
