Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a firmware engineer to join our hybrid team in the United States. You will design, code, test and debug firmware components including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, and BIOS/UEFI, collaborating with hardware teams and external partners.

The role requires working toward a Bachelor's/Master's in CS/EE/CE or equivalent, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with firmware tools and languages.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Codes and programs firmware updates for DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers and BIOS/UEFI.
• Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
• Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on firmware design and development.
• Participates as a member of project team of other firmware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
