Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.
• 5 years progressive experience in direct component level repair and maintenance on medical imaging equipment.
• Willingness to travel to remote hospital sites and to conform to a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and calibrates equipment.
• Procures best value products, labor, and parts sources in order to minimize the total cost of service to the organization.
• Completes the preventive maintenance (PM) workload to achieve a consistently high level of PM compliance over time (95% or greater).
• Oversees the work of external contractors/vendors engaged in providing services for specialized equipment.
• Performs repairs on defective or malfunctioning equipment.
