Job summary

The Draeger, Inc. Senior Biomedical Field Engineer role is based in the San Diego, CA area with remote coverage of the territory.

The position handles installation, maintenance, recall, and repair of diverse modality devices at customer sites, operating independently and ensuring high service metrics and customer satisfaction. Key duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing devices to OEM standards, installing new devices, and leading field service activities while

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of biomedical or electronic field service experience.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagnose equipment issues.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and recall service for all models within the territory.
• Diagnoses, evaluates, calibrates, and repairs devices to OEM standards.
• Installs new medical devices, demo units and loaners per OEM standards.
• Manages service orders and documents completed work promptly.
• Exceeds KPIs while following procedures and maintaining compliance.
• Maintains assets, including vehicle, inventory, and test equipment.
