Job summary

Draeger is hiring a Biomed Field Service Engineer II in the Phoenix area. You will be field-based, live in the territory, and may receive a company vehicle for personal use.

The role focuses on installation, maintenance, recall, and repair of diverse medical devices at customer sites. You will diagnose and repair devices to OEM standards, install new equipment, manage service orders, and contribute to team goals while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Associates in Electronics or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be available to work non-standard hours.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience – biomedical or electronic field service.
• Experience working independently while reaching assigned goals.
• Able to review service history and device log data to achieve repairs.
• Effective communicator with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides installation, maintenance, recall, and repair support for a broad range of assigned modalities and models at customer sites.
• Diagnoses, evaluates, calibrates, and repairs nonfunctioning devices to OEM standards for assigned models.
• Installs new medical devices, demo units and loaners per OEM standards.
• Leverages available technology to manage service orders, access customer and equipment information, document completed service work promptly.
• Consistently achieves assigned KPIs while adhering to all procedures and work instructions.
• Maintains accountability for assigned company assets, including vehicle, inventory, and test equipment.
• Work at varying locations, travel as required, and adjust work hours, including nonstandard business hours.
