Qualifications

• Provides preventive maintenance and quality assurance testing procedures for medical equipment.
• Reviews incident reports related to equipment malfunction or misuse and takes actions to ensure patient safety.
• Provides in-service training to other clinical engineering service technicians.
• Leads continuous performance improvement initiatives related to medical equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Completes the preventive maintenance workload to achieve a high PM compliance level.
• Leads new equipment evaluations, acquisitions and installations.
• Obtains quotes through requisition processes and supports bids and capital purchases.
• Responds to maintenance requests; performs problem verification and troubleshooting.
