Job summary

The role requires reading production orders, adjusting machinery, and coordinating teams to maintain throughput and accuracy across the bindery process.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and adjusting bindery equipment to full specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and production notes.
• Proficiency with inspection and quality-control checks for printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Operate perfect binders with multiple stations handling collated sheets or signatures.
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a machine.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production and monitor output.
• Ensure quality and productivity targets are met.
