Job summary

The Senior Virtual Design Construction Specialist at JE Dunn Construction will provide BIM administration and coordination across projects, assembling 3D content and supporting RFI processes. This role emphasizes standard BIM processes and clear documentation to drive project delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years BIM-related experience, a bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, and proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field (Required).
• 2+ years construction or related experience (Required).
• 2+ years BIM-related experience (Required).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides BIM models and documents to complete project scope as determined with VDC leadership.
• Assembles 3D content and models content not provided by others.
• Learns and maintains productive BIM processes and standards.
• Creates and maintains project documentation such as meeting agendas/minutes and constraint logs.
• Supports RFI process for BIM-related items and coordinates with project teams.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
• Applies VDC processes and standards to assigned projects.
• Reads construction documents and BIM requirements and applies them to VDC work.
• Performs self-perform VDC focused layout and model management.
• Gains exposure to complex VDC delivery strategies and field layout processes.
