Job summary

The Senior Virtual Design Construction Specialist at JE Dunn Construction Company will provide routine BIM administration and coordination for assigned projects. This role delivers BIM models and documents, offers BIM technical support, and assembles 3D content modeled by others in support of project goals.

You will work within our Aptitude partnership, maintain BIM processes, support RFI items, train teams on BIM tools, and ensure owner requirements and BIM execution plans are aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years construction or related experience.
• 2+ years BIM-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide BIM models and documents to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM leadership and project teams.
• Assemble 3D content modeled by others and model any content not provided.
• Learn and maintain a productive and efficient BIM process.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as meeting agendas/minutes and constraint logs.
• Support operations with the RFI process for BIM related items.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
• Apply VDC standards to assigned projects and update designs accordingly.
• Read and apply BIM requirements to VDC processes.
• Provide training to project teams on BIM tools.
