Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Virtual Design and Construction Specialist to provide BIM administration and coordination on assigned projects, delivering models and documents while supporting a robust BIM process.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors, and VDC leadership to apply BIM standards, handle RFIs, and contribute to design updates, clash detection, and field layout through self-perform VDC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years construction or BIM related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provides models and documents to complete project scope as determined with VDC leadership.
• Assembles 3D content and models missing elements.
• Learns and maintains a productive BIM process.
• Creates and maintains project documentation (agendas, minutes, constraint logs).
• Supports RFI process for BIM related items.
• Maintains relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
• Applies VDC processes and standards to projects.
