Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a BIM Model Manager II to lead digital model management and deliverables for complex projects. You will work with Project Managers to develop the Digital Delivery Plan, set up server infrastructure, and ensure coordination across disciplines and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with production teams, monitor model health, and lead design reviews and 3D coordination efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables for HDR clients.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and building systems.
• Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.
• Understand discipline interactions and how construction documents are produced.
• Generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) with the Project Manager.
• Establish server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables per scope.
• Execute digital deliverables and support production teams through project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.
• Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through issue of documents.
• Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Establish document management system and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects.
• Ensure appropriate software, versions, access, and training for project requirements.
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings for quality control via Design Reviews.
• Coordinate and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange at milestones.
• Archive project at submittals and closeout, engage with HDR management and clients.
