Job summary

Clark Construction seeks a Senior BIM Coordinator - MEP to drive BIM adoption across the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through turnover. You will lead project-level BIM coordination, clash detection, and BIM meetings, while developing project-specific workflows and execution plans.

Join a team delivering complex MEP coordination, collaborating with clients and offsite groups, and traveling to DMV area sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience overseeing BIM implementation (preferred with MEP subcontractors).
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering/mechanical engineering.
• Broad understanding of municipal engineering, hydraulics and process mechanical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, SketchUp, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross‑cultural/global teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project level BIM coordination including clash detection and meetings.
• Represent Clark in BIM presentations to clients and industry groups.
• Establish BIM goals and project workflows.
• Set up BIM projects (execution plan, formats, nomenclature, coordinates, data sharing, schedules).
• Facilitate initial BIM meetings and MEP coordination sessions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for BIM implementation.
• Daily coordination with global/offsite team members.
• Perform QA/QC of models and drawings.
• Modify models as needed.
• Travel to DMV area job sites.
