Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a senior MEP Construction Manager to lead complex mechanical, electrical and fire protection coordination for large-scale projects in McLean, VA. You will guide field teams, review submittals, manage schedules and ensure code-compliant installations with a focus on risk reduction and safety.

The role demands extensive experience with MEP trades, strong leadership, and a proven ability to align cross-functional teams to project goals.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or fire protection/life safety engineering, construction management or related discipline, or 8+ years of relevant experience.
8+ years’ experience in construction and managing MEP trades, with GC experience preferred.
Experience leading teams in design review, submittal review, inspections, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Analyze contract documents for constructability, code compliance and functionality.
Lead MEP trade 3D coordination meetings and coordinated drawings submittal approval.
Guide and monitor MEP trade coordination and installation on site.
Manage MEP trade material submittals per contract documents.
Develop, monitor, and maintain MEP schedule with field supervision.
Review field installation and testing & commissioning efforts.
Advise on MEP requisitions and changes; manage close-out documentation.
Foster diversity, inclusion, safety and staff development.
