Job summary

The United Illuminating Company in Connecticut seeks a senior Billing Systems Analyst to research and document business requirements, develop solutions using technology, and implement billing configuration models. You will coordinate with IT and business users to define requirements, develop work plans, test, and train end users.

As SME for Billing, you will mentor teammates, assess impacts of changes, create testing strategies, and promote process improvements.

Qualifications

Ten years of experience with business systems (SAP highly preferred) in a billing environment.
Ability to lead the introduction, enhancement, and maintenance of billing systems, including troubleshooting and mentoring.
Strong communication with billing team, IT and vendors.

Responsibilities

Expert within Billing area with knowledge of system operations and reporting.
Assist in implementing Billing configuration changes to meet requirements from Billing, Bill Printing, Pricing, and Rate & Regulatory departments.
Act as liaison with business users, vendors, and IT to resolve system needs.
Assess impacts of any application or system changes on business operations.
Develop standards, process improvements and documentation for billing solutions.
Coordinate testing strategies and resources for user acceptance testing.
