Job summary

Peyton Resource Group seeks a Senior Billing Analyst in Richardson, TX to own the full billing lifecycle and act as the billing SME. You will collaborate with Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and customers to ensure accurate invoicing, maximize revenue, resolve issues, and streamline processes.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years in billing, invoicing, AR, or revenue operations, strong Excel skills, and experience with contracts and SOWs.

Qualifications

• Own the full invoicing lifecycle and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.
• 4–5+ years in billing, invoicing, AR, or revenue operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Strong understanding of contracts, SOWs, and customer-specific billing requirements.
• Experience with complex invoicing and reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with AR, billing operations, and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Billing Analyst to take ownership of the full billing lifecycle and serve as a subject matter expert for billing operations. This role will work closely with Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and customers to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, maximize revenue capture, resolve billing issues, and improve billing processes. Located in Richardson, TX fully onsite, direct hire role.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations, with experience handling complex customer billing requirements, contracts, and Statements of Work.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience owning the full invoicing lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of contracts, SOWs, and customer-specific billing requirements.
• Experience with complex invoicing and reconciliation.
