Job summary

Multnomah County is seeking a Senior Bi-cultural/Bilingual Spanish Case Manager for Bienestar de la Familia at Baltazar Ortiz Community Center in Portland. The role delivers advanced, long-term case management for families, with intake, needs assessment, crisis intervention, and service coordination across county programs and partners, utilizing Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency required (speaking, reading and writing).
• Associate degree with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and client-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced intake, assessment, and action planning for clients and families.
• Process payments, review documentation, and maintain accurate electronic files (HMIS).
• Collaborate with external agencies, landlords, and partners to coordinate services.
• Mentor staff and lead special projects to improve service delivery.
