Job summary

Cision is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team and shape how data, AI, and analytics translate into commercial advantage across RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. You will own the definition, delivery, and continuous improvement of analytics, KPI frameworks, and executive-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Business Analysis, Analytics, or BI in a SaaS or tech org.
• Experience supporting RevOps, Sales Ops, or Commercial Analytics teams.
• Advanced SQL; Databricks experience preferred.
• Strong ability to scope, document, and validate analytical requirements.
• Proven project management across multiple workstreams.
• Exceptional communication, able to present to VP and train teams.
• Experience delivering executive dashboards and self-service reporting (Power BI).
• Strong commercial and revenue-focused business acumen.
• Active user of LLM tools (Copilot, Claude) in a professional context.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary analytics partner to senior commercial stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, CS, and RevOps.
• Translate complex data and AI outputs into plain-language insights driving action.
• Design and deliver enablement programs to raise data literacy across the Revenue Organization.
• Own end-to-end analytics delivery from requirements to adoption and iteration.
• Develop executive dashboards and self-service reporting with Power BI.
• Ensure consistent KPI definitions and data quality across the analytics layer.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Databricks data warehouse.
• Evaluate and scale AI-enabled analytics approaches within the team.
