Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence and Reporting Engineer to design and execute complex data mining analyses and to develop new and standard reports leveraging our data warehouse. This hybrid role requires 1-2 days in-office per week in Connecticut, with flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance, and potential alternate locations within commuting distance.

You will write queries, program data extractions, ensure data integrity, and translate business needs

Qualifications

Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related analytical experience.
Experience with standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred.
PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes data mining analyses.
Uses program languages to extract data.
Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
Programs and writes queries and reports.
Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Conducts training on use of applications developed.
