Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect and Technology Innovation Engineer to lead data warehousing design, development, and governance. The role collaborates with IT, applications, and security teams to implement scalable data architectures and BI solutions while ensuring HIPAA-compliant protection of data.

The position requires strong SQL, Databricks expertise, and experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Public Health or a related field.
• Equivalent of 10 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Five or more years of related work experience, including experience designing and developing in a data warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Identifies data requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
• Identifies sources of data that can be used to populate the data warehouse.
• Maintains database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements.
• Prepares users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems.
