Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to advance the organization’s analytical capabilities and modernize FP&A. The role blends technical depth with financial acumen and stakeholder leadership to design enterprise BI solutions, perform advanced financial analysis, and partner with leaders across Finance and Operations.

This position emphasizes automation, governance, and scalable data integration to support executive decision‑making with clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI, data analytics, FP&A analytics, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI: data modeling, DAX, semantic models, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Direct Lake, Lakehouse or modern data architectures.
• Familiarity with Python for data transformation or automation.
• Strong data modeling, star schema design and BI governance.
• Understanding of financial statements with revenue, margin and KPI analysis.
• Ability to translate analytics into strategic insights and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions including data models and dashboards.
• Implement Microsoft Fabric components and apply Medallion architecture for scalable analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineering to design ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate datasets.
• Develop advanced DAX measures, KPIs, and financial/operational logic.
• Establish BI standards, governance, version control, and documentation.
