Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer to partner with engineering, People Science, and HR leadership. You will design scalable data solutions, deliver insights, and enable data-driven decisions across the People team.

You will own end-to-end data products, mentor teammates, and ensure data quality and governance while translating complex findings for executives and analysts alike.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and Python skills for pipelines and analytics.
• Strong data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data quality focus.
• Experience turning business questions into measurable metrics.
• Ability to operate with limited direction and own delivery.
• Experience with statistical methods and analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex BI initiatives from problem definition through delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical approaches and requirements.
• Own workflow, prioritize work, manage timelines and blockers.
• Design scalable data pipelines, models, and analytics solutions.
• Own data products end-to-end, with docs and monitoring.
• Translate findings into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve data quality.
• Mentor teammates and help set team standards.
