Job summary

Adobe's Digital Imaging Data Science Team in San Jose is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to design scalable data pipelines, models, and self-service dashboards to support data-driven decisions across product and business teams.

You will work with SQL, Python, Airflow, and BI tools to enable product analytics, plus ensure data governance and platform performance. This role is onsite in San Jose.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale data and BI engineering.
• SQL (6+ years) and Python (6+ years) expertise.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools.
• Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Build and manage BI dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker) to track product usage and performance.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights to Product, Marketing, and Growth teams.
• Automate and optimize data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Maintain BI standards, documentation, and data governance artefacts.
• Improve BI platform performance, scalability, and adoption across the organization.
