Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join the central analytics team. You will own the design, development, and reliability of core data pipelines and the metrics layer that powers product decisions.

This role sits at the center of product, engineering, and data ecosystems. You will collaborate with analysts, product managers, and business leaders to translate reporting needs into scalable data structures, and you will ensure data quality

Qualifications

• Experience building production data pipelines in a data engineering or BI role.
• Fluent in SQL and Python; strong data modeling and warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with Airflow and dbt orchestration and transformations.
• Ability to translate requirements across technical and business teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of core data pipelines and warehouse models for reporting and analytics.
• Partner with engineering to define instrumentation and event tracking for reliable data lands.
• Build and optimize data models turning unstructured data into clean, reusable datasets for scalable analytics.
• Own data quality end-to-end including validation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to meet reporting needs with scalable data structures.
