Job summary

Gifthealth is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to own end-to-end reporting projects across the pharmacy business lines, from ambiguous asks to models, validation, and handoff. You will define the semantic layer and ensure the BI outputs meet governance and compliance standards.

You will partner with account teams and operations to reconcile numbers, build PHI reporting safely with masking and BAAs, and mentor teammates while advancing Looker/LookML, dbt models, and cloud data

Qualifications

• Experience building BI on production dashboards that users rely on.
• Strong Looker/LookML development and semantic layer expertise.
• Proficiency in SQL with advanced functions and joins.
• Data modeling skills to define grain and missing data.
• Ability to reconcile numbers with source data and explain confidence.
• Mentor teammates and unblock blockers.
• Understanding PHI, HIPAA and BAAs in data projects.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end BI reporting projects from ask to model to validation and handoff.
• Define and maintain semantic layers and dbt models.
• Ensure dashboards align with business definitions and governance.
• Lead dashboard migrations, identify redundancies, and optimize data flow to the warehouse.
• Produce client-facing outputs with accurate labeling and caveats.
• Build PHI reporting with masking and role-based access as part of the build.
