Job summary

Gifthealth Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to own end-to-end reporting across the pharmacy business lines and the pharmacy management system. You will define LookML models, ensure data quality, and drive dbt-based workflows.

This role emphasizes PHI handling, secure access, and collaboration with account teams to ensure numbers reconcile and dashboards reflect business needs. Strong SQL and data modeling are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience building BI on a real platform with production dashboards.
• Looker/LookML experience; other BI tools acceptable with Looker affinity.
• SQL with advanced features and careful joins; data modeling to define grain.
• PHI/HIPAA knowledge and handling of healthcare data.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision making.
• Mentoring teammates and collaborating with account/ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Own reporting projects end to end across business lines and data sources.
• Define semantic layer in LookML; ensure dashboards map to dbt models.
• Pin down metric definitions and push fixes upstream to dbt.
• Manage dashboard migrations and reconcile numbers with stakeholders.
• Build PHI reporting with masking, RBAC, and BAAs considerations.
