Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior BI Developer in the United States to lead end-to-end reporting and transform ambiguous business needs into reliable analytics. You will shape data models, own the semantic layer in Looker, and ensure dashboards deliver accurate, meaningful information across healthcare data.

You will work with Looker/LookML, Looker-based metrics, and dbt on Snowflake, mentoring teammates while promoting strong development practices. Experience with PHI and HIPAA is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–7 years of BI development experience on an established platform.
• Looker/LookML or Power BI/Tableau/Domo with willingness to develop Looker expertise.
• Advanced SQL skills with window functions and careful join design.
• Solid data modeling capabilities meeting reporting requirements.
• Strong data visualization judgment for clear, concise charts.
• Quality assurance including source reconciliation and edge-case testing.
• Ability to work with operations leaders and account managers to clarify needs.
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring and problem solving.
• PHI, HIPAA, and healthcare data privacy knowledge.
• Excellent communication to support data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end reporting projects from discovery through delivery.
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer in LookML.
• Ensure dashboards use appropriate dbt models and warehouse data.
• Standardize metric definitions across the business.
• Lead dashboard migrations and determine where logic belongs.
• Deliver accurate client-facing reports and reconcile figures with manufacturers.
• Build and maintain PHI-containing reports with masking and access controls.
• Validate outputs against source systems and investigate discrepancies.
• Mentor colleagues and promote solid development practices.
