Cooper Standard Automotive is seeking a senior techno-functional analyst to bridge business needs and technical BI solutions across sales, purchasing, manufacturing and finance. The role emphasizes end-to-end BI delivery, robust reporting, and cross-functional collaboration in a distributed team.

The candidate will translate requirements into specifications, perform complex data queries, develop training materials, and contribute to the technology roadmap while leveraging AI tools for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT.
• 8–10 years in BI/Data Warehouse/IT roles.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with BI tools: Power BI/Tableau/QlikView; SAP Analytics Cloud a big plus.
• Exposure to SAP BI tools and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience developing adhoc reports and performing complex data analysis in BI tools.
• Strong documentation and end-user training capabilities.
• CBAP or PMI-PBA certifications preferred.

• Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and gaps.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to define requirements and present options.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specs and technical requirements.
• Lead end-to-end solutioning from discovery to delivery support.
• Manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables to keep projects on track.
• Work with DevOps to ensure solution alignment.
• Analyze existing processes and propose improvements for efficiency.
• Participate in system testing and support implementation.
• Execute complex queries and adhoc BI reports for data validation.
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Provide input on IT initiatives and technology roadmap.
• Document lessons learned for future projects.
• Lead or support rapid prototyping and iterative design.
• Leverage AI tools for documentation acceleration and ideation.
