Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Lead to join the Operations FP&A and Transformation team. The role blends hands-on analytics with leadership, turning data into actionable insights for performance improvements.

The Lead will own initiatives end-to-end, collaborating with Operations, Finance, HR, and IT to deliver dashboards, data products, and decision-support solutions. Strong SQL, Power BI, and data modeling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
• Eight+ years of progressive experience in BI, analytics, FP&A, or related area.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics initiatives end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own BI and analytics initiatives end to end from problem definition to deployment and adoption.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders across Operations, Finance, HR, and IT.
• Build and improve Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reporting solutions for multiple domains.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze large datasets.
• Reconcile data from disparate sources and establish trusted, repeatable datasets and metrics.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and escalate risks with recommendations.
• Analyze performance trends and form hypotheses, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Manage project scope, priorities, and delivery commitments with limited day-to-day support.
