Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Principal Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Commercial Operations and Sales Strategy team supporting IO&E. You will develop, build and maintain critical sales enablement platforms for a high-impact field sales organization and internal executive stakeholders.

This role requires quick thinking, data-driven decisions, and strong knowledge of Boston Scientific sales tools. The role is hybrid in Minneapolis with travel up to 10% and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years supporting commercial operations, including 4+ years with BI tools and data management.
• 2+ years using SQL.
• 3+ years using Vis Dev Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau and Snowflake.
• Expert MS Office: Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerPoint, Word.
• Travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute sales analytics and reporting to help field sales and sales leadership track KPIs.
• Own and maintain a deep understanding of U.S. IO&E sales data and field tools to monitor business health.
• Deliver training on proactive sales and operational tools to assess trends and drive corrective action.
• Identify selling opportunities within and across product franchises by monitoring trends and metrics.
• Develop and design data sets to improve data analysis and reduce analysis effort.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and internal partners on strategic projects to drive sales execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of go-to-market processes.
• Understand business impact of changes to sales structure and propose system solutions.
• Provide strategic recommendations to management to improve processes for the field.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support as needed.
• Support rollout of emerging technologies to sales teams.
• Leverage Boston Scientific technology to enable the field sales organization.
• Communicate technology needs and gaps to inform investments.
• Foster a diverse workplace enabling full potential.
