Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations. This role blends BI and finance, with 70% focus on BI and 30% on finance, writing SQL, designing data models, and building reporting used by finance leaders each close and forecast cycle.

You will automate manual processes, improve data quality, and expand the reporting the team delivers, collaborating with FP&A, Accounting, and Data Engineering to turn questions into data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or financial analysis, including at least 3 years writing SQL in a production setting.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning on large datasets.
• Understanding BI best practices, including dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and data governance.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
• Solid finance fundamentals, including P&L, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain finance data models that serve as a trusted source of truth for planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Replace manual data loads and spreadsheet processes with repeatable, systematic pipelines.
• Design dashboards and reports for close, budget vs actuals, forecasting, and executive reporting.
• Define and govern key finance and business metrics to ensure consistency.
• Reconcile reporting to source systems and the general ledger, resolving data issues before stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Data Engineering to translate finance questions into data requirements and solutions.
