Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations to bridge finance and business intelligence. You will design data models, build robust reporting, and automate pipelines to support close and forecasting cycles.

You will leverage advanced SQL and BI tools to deliver trusted finance insights, reconcile variances, and partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Data Engineering to scale our data capabilities as CoreWeave grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or financial analysis, including at least 3 years writing SQL in a production setting.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning on large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in a modern BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
• Solid finance fundamentals, including the three financial statements, P&L structure, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM data, such as NetSuite and Salesforce, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Replace manual data loads and spreadsheet processes with repeatable, systematic pipelines.
• Design dashboards and reports for close, budget versus actuals, forecasting, and executive reporting.
• Define and govern key finance and business metrics so they are calculated consistently across the organization.
• Reconcile reporting to source systems and the general ledger, and resolve data issues before they reach stakeholders.
• Work with FP&A, Accounting, and Data Engineering to turn finance questions into data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Bring BI discipline to a finance team, including documentation, testing, version control, and data quality.

About the Team

Finance Operations (FinOps) builds the data foundation that CoreWeave's finance organization runs on. We own the core finance data models, reporting, and tools that FP&A and Accounting rely on to plan, forecast, and report on the business.

About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations will sit at the intersection of business intelligence and finance. This role is roughly 70% BI and 30% finance. You will write SQL, design data models, and build reporting that finance leaders use every close and forecast cycle. You will also understand the finance behind the numbers, so you can spot when something doesn't look right and explain why.

As CoreWeave grows, so does the scope of what finance needs from its data. You will help automate manual processes, improve data quality, and expand the reporting the team delivers.

Who You Are

• You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or financial analysis, including at least 3 years writing SQL in a production setting.
• You have advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning on large datasets.
• You understand BI best practices, including dimensional modeling (star schemas, conformed dimensions, slowly changing dimensions), semantic layers, and data governance.
• You have experience building dashboards and reports in a modern BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma.
• You have solid finance fundamentals, including the three financial statements, P&L structure, budgeting and forecasting cycles, budget-versus-actuals analysis, and month-end close.
• You can reconcile data to the general ledger and explain variances to finance stakeholders.
• You are deeply familiar with AI tools, skills, and agents, and use sound judgment about how and when to apply AI in your work-including where it can speed up analysis and where human review still matters.
• You communicate clearly and can explain technical trade-offs to finance partners and finance logic to engineers.
• You have a strong sense of ownership and treat changes to finance data with care because you know who relies on it.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an FP&A, Finance Systems, or Finance Operations team at a high-growth or public company.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM data, such as NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
• Experience with Python, dbt, or similar data transformation tools.
• Experience in the cloud or technology industry.
