Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team at our Fort Wayne headquarters. In this role you will scope questions with stakeholders, design analytical plans, build data models and pipelines, and deliver dashboards or reports that clearly tell a story with data.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in BI development.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, applied mathematics, or computer science.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc.) is required.
• Knowledgeable in SQL; Python/R is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to learn business objectives and establish KPIs.
• Source, clean, and transform data with analytic engineers and data engineers.
• Build and maintain dashboards to tell data stories with clear visuals.
• Review reports, monitor trends, and respond to shifts in KPI performance.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to link business drivers with KPI changes.
• Perform statistical analyses to support enterprise decisions.
