Job summary

Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne, IN is building an analytics ecosystem and seeks an Analytics Engineer to enable data-driven decisions across teams. You will partner with data engineering, science, BI, and stakeholders to design and maintain analytic data architecture.

You'll standardize data into the warehouse, develop a semantic layer for the BI platform, and apply software engineering discipline to analytics code to keep pipelines accurate, testable, and reliable.

Qualifications

• SQL knowledge is required and critical.
• Experience with dbt and modern data stack tools.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses and BigQuery is a plus.
• Looker/LookML knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Multiple years of data modeling and ETL design.

Responsibilities

• Enable analytics use cases by creating data models and pipelines.
• Transform and standardize raw data into the warehouse.
• Create and maintain the semantic layer for BI.
• Apply software engineering practices to analytics code including version control and CI/CD.
• Maintain data documentation and educate users.
• Monitor analytic platform health and identify data gaps.
• Support ad-hoc analysis for urgent business needs.
