Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst in the United States to lead advanced research, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of performance metrics. You will generate reports from multiple sources, validate data quality, and collaborate with IT and other departments to implement projects within standardized procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience or combination of experience and education.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review reports from aggregate data to support complete evaluations, improvements, or recommendations.
• Review accuracy of information and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors.
• Understand and work with advanced scenario planning tools and models; investigate trends in general business conditions.
• Identify opportunities for large improvements for clients and the company.
• Collaborate with other departments and IT to facilitate project implementations.
• Review maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Act as subject matter expert for key systems and processes in day‑to‑day functions.
• Explain complex information in straightforward terms.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE values; influence decisions where appropriate.
