The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in managing complex beverage programs across restaurant and banquet operations, delivering a 5-star service standard to guests.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages; current trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends and seasonal offerings.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets.
  • Uphold beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Train staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring/presentation.
  • Foster continuous learning and development within the beverage team.

Job Summary

We're looking for a passionate, high-energy Senior Beverage Manager to take the reins of our elevated, high-volume beverage operation. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution, systems, and results. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in managing complex beverage programs within upscale, high-volume operations.

Pay: $85,000 + bonus / year

Beverage Program Management
  • Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets.
  • Uphold all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations.
  • Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques.
  • Understanding of local regulations and compliance related to beverage service.
  • Passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Innovative with an advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails and overall mixology.
  • 3 years' related experience as General Manager, Beverage Manager or Beverage Director, or similar role in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar/lounge environment
Physical Demands
  • Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
  • Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant
  • Regular ascending/descending stairs
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
