Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group is seeking a Buyer to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our distribution centers. The role interfaces with Sales, Warehouse Operations, and Suppliers to support sales and order fulfillment goals.

Responsibilities include developing inventory plans, issuing POs, resolving receiving and payment issues, and maintaining ERP data for reliable MRP reporting. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years' purchasing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and related software; strong communication and diplomacy.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines.
• Analytic and reporting skills; strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecast data with Sales to develop inventory plans and issue purchase orders.
• Follow procure-to-pay process and prepare POs per policy and audits.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve issues affecting receiving or supplier payment.
• File and follow up on claims with suppliers or carriers; manage transport for non-supplier-delivered goods.
• Review monthly inventory changes by supplier and report aging, cycle counts, and unsaleables.
• Maintain purchasing data and MRp reporting in ERP; ensure data reliability.
