Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in remote capacity is seeking a seasoned purchasing professional to drive supplier interactions and ensure timely, accurate goods receipt for distribution centers. You will collaborate across Sales, Warehouse Operations, and Suppliers to optimize inventory and PO processes.

The role requires 5+ years in purchasing, strong MS Office skills, and a track record of analytical, detail-oriented work in fast-paced teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training/work experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in purchasing or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and other presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecast data and collaborate with Sales to develop inventory plans and purchase orders.
• Follow procure-to-pay process cycle and prepare POs per policy.
• Resolve issues affecting receiving or supplier payments with relevant departments.
• File and follow up on claims with suppliers/carriers; manage transportation for non-supplier deliveries.
• Review monthly inventory changes by supplier and report on aging, unsaleables, and cycle counts.
• Maintain purchasing data and reports in ERP and related systems; ensure MR P reporting reliability.
• Perform item maintenance to ensure reliable MR P reporting; perform other duties as needed.
